What a privilege to have known and worked with Stu, a consummate gentleman, unyielding in his ethical standards, devoted to scholarship and to contributing his knowledge to students, beyond normal limits of kindness to friends, sharing his sense of humor with a surprisingly sweet (sorry Stu) smile, devoted to his family -- and handsome to boot.
