Obituary of MaryBeth Stasiak

MaryBeth A. Stasiak, age 43, entered into rest on October 23, 2013 at her home in Cheshire. She was the devoted wife of Dodge A. Stasiak. MaryBeth was born on January 9, 1970 in Park Ridge, IL, daughter of Deborah Gonser McGary and the late Patrick C. McGary. MaryBeth graduated from Cheshire High School, Class of 1988, new to the area she was set up on a blind date in which she met the love of her life, Dodge. They recently celebrated their 24th anniversary on September 2nd. She was a Mom to all of her children's friends, enjoyed spending time with her family and to garden and bake, and was a lover of all animals. MaryBeth is the beloved mother of Matthew, Melissa "Missy", and Christopher Stasiak. She is survived by her brothers; Patrick McGary and his wife Joanna of Fairfield and Christopher McGary and his wife Stephanie of Salem, NH. She also leaves her father in law; Dodge D. Stasiak of Meriden and her mothers in law; Barbara Parisi of Hamden and Beverly J. McKnight of Agawam, MA, also many nieces and nephews and her cherished Tibetan Spaniels; Riley, Sadie and Chloe. A Funeral Service for MaryBeth will be held at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2PM. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
