Obituary of Dow Kling

MIDDLEFIELD, CT - Dow Alexander Robert Kling, 22, passed away Sunday November 3, 2013. He was the beloved son of Roberta (Fairbrother) Curtis and Michael J. Kling. Dow was born December 10, 1990 in Hartford. He was currently employed as a Supervisor of Inventory Control Specialists at RGIS based in Rocky Hill. He was involved with the Cheshire Community Theater and had many hobbies which included spending time with his friends and family as well as going to concerts, hiking, fishing, and playing video games. Dow will forever be missed by his parents, family, friends and his beloved cockatiel Pica. Besides his parents, Dow is survived by his step-father Michael P. Curtis and his paternal grandparents Mary and Dow Kling; his sister Elizabeth Creagh; his paternal aunts and uncles Patty, Julie, Mary, Cathy (Jim), Mark, Joseph (Carol) and John; his Maternal aunts and uncles Marsha (Joe), Mary (Anthony), Colleen (Mark), Bill (Greta) and Mike; his cousins Richard (Tania), Jenny, Missy, Joshua, Stephen, Peter, Katie, Dale, Kelly, Neil, Liza, Danielle, Andre, Joseph, Claudia, Christina, Mary, Olivia, Elizabeth and Conner. Dow was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Bob and Bernice Fairbrother and his uncles Dow, John, Robert and Rick as well as his aunts Gail and June. Arrangements - A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Church 435 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St.
