Dear Ostuno Family: It is with a sad heart that I write this note to all of you. Your Mom was a very special woman to me and each time I went to the Farm to buy corn and vegetables for my Mom before and after moving to Florida, it was always a joy to chat with her for a while. I last saw her a few years ago when I stopped by to buy some corn and was so pleased to see that she was there, she remembered me and that I got to visit Janet and Sonny too. I saw Sonny a few months ago at our class reunion, I have known him since elementary school. The time flies by. To all of the family I offer my sincere sympathy for your great loss. She was a wonderful and very hard working woman and I feel blessed to have know her. My prayers are with you all and my hope that you will eventually be able to smile remembering her for the wonderful lady she was. She was truly a blessing in your lives. Sincere wishes of sympathy, Lindsay Trayner Glew Paolillo Dunnellon, FL

I feel compelled to leave a message although Fran did not know me by name. I was a steady customer at the Sunny Acre Farm fruit and vegetable stand for years. I always admired Fran's desire to keep going in the face of obvious health problems. During each visit, we had a bit of conversation, and then she did some kind of quick calculation...tabulating the cost of my purchases in what seemed like seconds. Her lose has touched my heart. May the memory of her loving ways give comfort to her family.

I was one of Fran's loyal customers. Fran was always kind and generous to me and to my son and there was never a time when she didn't throw in a couple extra fruits or vegetables or plants. She will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all of Frannie's family. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her. Didn't she have a wonderful smile! I'm so happy I stopped to see her in September - we had such a nice visit. She always asked about my family - the ones she always gave free apples too! Sad to have such a special person gone. Love Margot English Conley--Cape Cod, Massachusetts

What sad news - I loved listening to Fran tell me which peaches were best for preserving, and what fruit I should take home for jellies. Many a late summer, I hauled home baskets of tomoatos to make gallons of sauce, Fran's orders. A wonderful, generous soul, always wanting to chat while she worked at the store - she will be missed. Much love and prayers to all of you....Dawn
