I have fond memories of working with Tori at Bucks Hill School. I especially remember a wonderful chat about her trip to Russia, a great time at a staff Christmas Party, and meeting your mother. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I am currently a teacher in the Waterbury Public Schools. I had Miss Travisano as my 1st grade teacher @ Reagan School back in I believe in 1967. I have fond memories of being in her class and I can still remember her voice! :) It was the year that Reagan school had opened. Years later I ran into Miss Travisano at Buck's Hill school. She remembered my name and me that she may still have some of my art work in her home.:) I also remember for some reason that she drove a late 60's early 70's golden color Rambler! Neat car! We are so sad to hear of the passing of Tory. My dad says he remembers when she was born and all the times we visited each other. Dad recalls her mother Rose getting him his first job at the jewelry store. He fondly recalls them sharing family times growing up. We are all sorry for your loss. Tori and I went to Wilby H.S. together. We met again when we both taught at Regan School. We were both at Regan when your mother died. I met your mother a few times.She was a lovely lady. Tori was so proud of her.
Toria was a dedicated educator and gave 100% of her time to her students. She would go out of her way to meet the needs of her students.
She will be sadly missed.
