I grew up with Jeannie and her family in New London, CT. Jeannie was best friends with my younger sister and I was good friends with Jeannie's sister, Pat. We lived near each for a period of time, went to school together, attended each others birthday parties and went sledding at Connecticut College. Jeannie was also in my sister's wedding. Jeannie was a beautiful and vivacious girl with a lively spirit. I am so sorry to hear of of passing. My condolences to all her family membes. May she RIP.

Mrs. Rogers was my son Liam's first teacher and has been his favorite since. She was a gift to all the children who spent time in her classroom. She loved them, and they loved her. She will be missed by many.

I will always remember the grace and power of Jeanne when we would swim at the Cheshire Academy pool. Her vigorous laughter and her look you straight in the eyes directness made her easy to know. With the birth of Jack she became a mother and brought her wonderful confidence and sense of ease to parenting. I have not seen Jeanne for many years but I am among the many people who knew her for a time. Lucky me. My deepest sympathy to Jim, Jack, Patrick and the rest of Jeanne's family.

Jean was a beloved member of our Lake Hayward family. Her laughter will forever echo across the lake and in the memories of my mind. I was Jeanne's official umbrella installer at first beach and I always looked forward to seeing her stroll down the hill with her chair in one hand and umbrella in the other. Jeanne would light up the beach with her smiles and her stories of her clumsy escapades. She told stories of driving through a McDonalds drive thru only to forget to pick up her meal at the second window; or the time she had picked up a mirror at a tag sale and placed it in the front seat of her car only to set the dash on fire due to the reflection. It was during one of her many visits to the beach that she was telling us about how she had just gotten her hair cut and wasn't sure if she liked it. I told her it looked like cotton candy and she burst out laughing. I nicked named her CC right then and there and from that day forward I could never look at cotton candy without remembering her or her laughter. Jeanne always spoke with love when she talked of Butch AKA Bumpy and her two boys Jack and Patrick were the light of her life. Rest at peace my dear friend Jeanne and know your family is safe with ours.
