Jane, Amy, Jocelyn, Isabella & Jose I have known Norm for the nearly 14 years I have been here at Jason. He was a great man to have on our team and a winner in every sense of the word. HI Jane, As I tried to express on the phone I know you and the family will miss him, we all will. I vividly remember him trying to help the uncoordinated one (me) by trying to teach me how to throw a baseball. I'm sad to learn of Norm's death. He called on me for some twenty years and was always a gentleman who loved his family - speaking of them often - and carried himself as a professional. Norm always did the best he could for his customers and it was greatly appreciated. I had the privilege of playing several rounds of golf with Norm. He was a pleasure to be with. Norm was a good friend. Every time he would come to glens falls we would get together often with a round of golf. You learn a lot about a man playing golf. Norm was one of the good guys and I will miss him.

Norm was a true gentleman in every sense of the word - and he could tell you great stories. We knew each other for the last 15 years and salesman and puchasing agent but I always looked forward to seeing him and discussing the rivalry of the Red Sox and Yankees - he will be missed.

Dear Ms. McDuff and Family, My name is Yvan Perras and I am from Quebec City, Canada. I unfortunately never had the opportunity to meet you. I worked for Jason Canada for 23 years until April 2008, where I took a pre-retirement. I had the pleasure to meet Norm at the first Jason sales meeting he attended, its got to be in the late 80's or early 90's. Norm was most probably one of the only pleasure, if not the only one, I had to attend those meetings. I must say, he was a wonderful man and one of the only one at Jason, who was able to talk good enough french to talk to me in my own language. Since I have a cottage in Vermont, we had the opportunity to go and golf together in Grand Isle Vt., one time that he came to visit customers in Burlington Vt.. I do not know, how many times since 2008, I told myself I should call him to have news, I never did and now it is too late. Since Quebec City is much too far from Connecticut, I unfortunatly will not be able to attend the funeral, but I would like to give you and family, my deepest sympathy. Ray and I have lost a true and wonderful friend. Norman was kind to me through some of my worst days and once Ray entered my life, he and Norman became quick friends. I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. McDuff. I shared the end of the lane poolside with him many times as a timer at Jocelyn's swim meets. I always enjoyed the pride in his voice when he spoke of his family. I also enjoyed chatting with him and his wife at many Blessed Sacrament functions. He was one of the good guys and I'm so very sorry.
