Nora-lee was the most giving person I know and kind to everyone. I wish more people were like her and wish I had told her that when she was alive. They have an angel in heaven.
I am sorry for your loss. She lived a long and wonderful life. I last saw her about 5 years ago when I saw Naugatuck for the first time in many years. The old neighborhood looked the same and I had a nice visit with her and her cat. Her friendship meant a lot to my mother; they stayed in touch for the lifetime. I talked with my mom a lot and every time she had a conversation with Nora Lee, her voice and eyes would light up. She always missed her after moving away. They must have spent many years talking with each other as they raised a family. Happy memories to all of us.
I remember Nora-Lee (and Phillip) when we all were together at Thanksgiving in Washington, playing cards, word games, doing jigsaw puzzles. And sharing laughter, love, and good food. Her family is her legacy.
