I went to St. Micheal's with Bob (although to us, he was Stan). He was my friend. In fact, he was everyone's friend. He was one of a kind. I will miss him.
I worked with Bob and shared his love of books and great stories. We would often compare what we were reading and recommend books to each other. I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing and wanted you to know he is in the thoughts of many people he touched. His love of books was only exceeded by the love he had for his family and friends.
I worked along with Bob for Travelers. He in Connecticut and me in St. Paul, MN. Every time I came to Hartford, Bob made me feel at home and we had a lot of laughs as well as getting the work done. He also had me to his home to meet his family and have dinner. What a wonderful and thoughtful person he was. My prayers are for Bob's family at this difficult time. You will always have the memories and he will live on in your heart.
