Extending heartfelt condolences for your loss. Cherish loving memories of laughter and times spent together that are now something to be treasured. Proverbs 17:22 says "a joyful heart is good medicine", therefore, may those memories bring you joy and warm your heart. May you have empathy, comfort and support from family and friends now and any time it is needed. Another source of comfort is our loving Heavenly Father who is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and is only a prayer away. Psalm 65:2 calls God the "Hearer of prayer", and Psalm 145:18 says he "is near to all those calling on him". God has promised at Revelation 21:4 that soon "death will be no more". 1 John 4:8 says "God IS love". It is that love that moved Him to send his only begotten son as a ransom sacrifice so we could have the hope of the resurrection, and that hope is noted at Acts 24:15. May the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4), comfort you in your time of need. (tallchea@att.net)

Butch & Cathy, I will always remember Dana for her smile and her giggle. It feels like yesterday that she would come through the front door at Nana and Papa Joe's at 23 Fern Street and light up the room. Her smile was infectious and could brighten any room she entered. May memories of Dana and prayers and thoughts from friends and family keep you strong in the days ahead. Love, Dawn

It is with shock and sorrow that I write this note. I didn't have the honor or privledge of knowing Dana as an adult. It seems like just the other day we were little girls who enjoyed each others company while our parents visited. Eddie and Kathy, may your joyful memories and the laughter you shared with our sweet Dana bring you comfort at this most difficult of times. Love you, Laura Falcone Jaconetta and family

Dear Ed and Kathy, My brother Fran called me to inform me of the death of your beautiful daughter Dana. I am so sorry. Remember all the time we spent together and how close we were as teenagers....I feel a great hurt for both of you. I didn't ever have the privilege of meeting or knowing Dana, but I know that she was the best of both of you and that her life was so precious. My prayers and sympathy are just not enough. I will make sure that on my next visit to Waterbury, I will be in touch. Regards, Mike Genovese

Dear Kathy & Ed, In all three years of Dana's illness we never stopped praying for a miracle physical healing. But God had other plans, he set her time a very short 43 years here on earth, now he has taken her to her eternal home. She will never suffer pain again, not physical or emotional...she is in Glory with our Heavenly Father...smiling with that beautiful smile of hers and laughing because she now knows what it is to have eternal joy in her soul. Her spirit lives on in all who knew her and loved her. We can only imagine the horrific pain in the depths of your hearts now and always. She may not be with you physically but she will live on forever. Our hearts are in deep sorrow for your great loss. We may not have been there physically but we were there with our hearts. Friends forever...Estee & Dennis

Mr. Laudati & Family, I cannot even begin to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your only child Dana. I can remember meeting her a few times when she came to our classroom to visit. You always had the biggest smile when you saw her walk in the room. I am still dealing with the loss of my Dad since his passing in October. I cannot even imagine how it would be to loose one of my children. My heart goes out to you and your family. You still are and always will be my favorite "Ambidextrous Math Teacher", even though it wasn't my best subject! My thoughts and prayers are with you. “Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know that they are standing by." -(Elizabeth Foley) Dana, we shared so many laughs and great memories, and although life took us on different paths, I know Heaven has one more angel now. To Mr. and Mrs. Laudati, my deepest sympathies for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May Dana's laugh and smile and deep, deep love for you both help you through this time. And may you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel watching over you. My heart goes out to you and your family. -Tara (Board of Parole)
