I am truly saddened to hear that Laura died. Our paths crossed last year when she came into the church office researching her family history from Sweden. We made a connection, and stayed in touch.We exchanged emails, and Laura shared some of her news columns with me via "snail" mail. I have a newspaper clipping she mailed me "Scandinavian traditions taken to heart"
it's posted on my bulletin board. I take daily walks at Woodlawn Cemetery, and it was a coincidence her husband and son were buried there. I will make sure to add flowers to the grave. She will be missed. A true inspiration.
