Obituary of Marguerite Mischler

CHESHIRE - Marguerite A. "Peg" Mischler, 86, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Highlands Health Care in Cheshire. Mrs. Mischler was born October 2, 1927 in Branford, the daughter of the late James T. and Marguerite (Carrignan) Murphy. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Bridget Church. She was an avid gardener, belonging to the Cheshire Garden Club and the Federated Garden Club. She is survived by her children Deborah Mischler of Wallingford, CT, Patricia Hudson and husband Tom, of Madison, CT, Robert Mischler and his wife Janet Moore of Monroe, NY, and Kevin Mischler and his wife Deborah of West Chester, OH; her brother James Murphy of Meriden; her 9 grandchildren, Robert, Jacqueline, Heather, Lynn, Johnny, Kristine, Erin, Kelly, and Amy, and 10 great grandchildren; as well as a niece and several nephews. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday March 7, 2014, 12:15 pm from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 1 pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cheshire Garden Club P.O.
