I will rely on my memories of the good times we shared over the years of working together at Uniroyal and Post College. Most of all I will miss our not often enough breakfast/lunch get-togethers after retirement. I loved those days in particular as we took our time to enjoy each minute of our time together to catch up while enjoying our meal and then our relaxing trips to the local thrift shops in Southbury; especially at the Southbury Training School. It was so nice looking through vintage items we could share stories about and finding special little items that caught our fancy and easily made us happy. The hightlight of those days together was our last stop at Friendly's Rest. in Southbury where we always enjoyed our hot fudge sundaes and chatting with one of the long-time waitresses who always came over to chat with us. You were such a good listener (rare to find) and always made me feel better about everything. I admired your humility, friendship and considered you one of the most intelligent women I have known in my lifetime. My heart goes out to your family with their loss. You have left an unmatchable legacy to anyone who was lucky enough to know you. Love, Jayne
