I'm John Leahy from Co Kerry now living in St. Augustine, Florida. Eddie & I were friends and Buddies from 1950 when we were drafted into the Army and sent to Fort Devins, Mass. There was another soldier in our baracks from Belfast who was always saying nasty things about Catholics so Eddie & I went to his bunk and told him to shut up about the Catholics otherwise he was going to take the Kerry Cavan train off the 2nd floor into the bushes. He got the message.We were great buddies in Gaelic Park in the Bronx where the Irish games were played .I was also Supervisor for Finast Supermarket in Harlem and made sure the Cops were all well fed.
Eddie you were the Best. RIP
