Obituary of Darrell Morehouse

Darrell Walker Morehouse, Jr., 63, of 330 Bishop St., Waterbury, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his home. Darrell was born in New Haven on February 9, 1945. He was the son of the late Darrell Walker and Muriel ( Modzelewski ) Morehouse, Sr. He worked for the Waterbury school systems in the maintenance department until his retirement. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by two sons; Darrell Walker Morehouse, III and Paul Morehouse both of Virginia, one sister, Debra Modzelewski of Waterbury and one brother, William Modzelewski of East Haven, and one grandchild, Amber Formica. Darrell was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Wildman and step-father, Alexander Modzelewski. Arrangements; Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Avenue is in charge of arrangements.
