Beverly had many interests. She was an advocate of women’s liberation long before it became a fashionable buzzword. She was never one to shy away from physical work. But beyond that she was also a very well spoken, informed, true lady. Occasionally she and my Mom would meet for lunch in Woodbury or Brookfield, I being my Mom’s chauffer but never an attendee at the “girls’ luncheon. Their friendship began decades earlier with my Mom being Beverly’s hairdresser. It is interesting how this friendship was sustained over the years. God bless you Beverly. You were quite something!
