Dear Members of Fred's Family, We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of Dear Fred. Fred was our financial advisor and a trusted friend. We could discuss everything from finances, to politics, to the state of the world. Fred was a man of distinguished character and intelligence. He radiated goodness to all of us and will be deeply missed as a friend, true gentleman and a man of his word. We are sorry we were unable to attend the services for him. He has been in our thoughts and prayers throughout these past days. We know that Fred is with his dear wife Joan in Heaven and they are beaming down on all of us, as we celebrate their lives and the contributions they gave to all of us of love of life, family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Paul and Catherine Palmer and Family

I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a very funny and kind man. One of my fondest memories is your parents and mine getting together every New Year's Eve at our house. When we were little that always meant we got to stay up late and get lots of snacks. My parents enjoyed their friendship deeply. My deepest sympathies to all of you at this difficult time.

AS a member of the Middlebury Congregational Church like Fred, I would see and talk to him often. He also served tirelessly when asked as an usher for Sunday Services. To all the family, please accept my sincerest condolences and sympathy and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. As Fred is now in heaven and close to God, he will always be close to you, his family in your hearts. With regards and respect, Malcolm S. Todt

Dear Kelly and Family, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of the Lawtons, the Currys and the Mackens all sitting together as families in church. Remember? We all used to sit upstairs. Mr. Lawton was always a steadfast sign to me of a wonderful family man, bringing up his children in the ways of our Lord. Now he is at rest, in the arms of Jesus. May you find comfort and peace in that. There is no better place he could be, ever. With love, Dale S. Macken

Dear Kerry and the whole Lawton family, I was so saddened to hear about your dad. He was such a wonderful man. I truly enjoyed the stories he told and the way he did with such enthusiasm. Whether he was speaking of your mom or tales of all of you growing up, the sparkle in his eyes showed the love he had for his family. My deepest sympathies for your loss. I'm sure Mr. Lawton will be very missed by all of you. Sincerely, Angelyn
