Our sincere condolences to the entire Scalzo family. We've known Ted through The Hartford for 20 years or so. The past 5 years though was a pleasure, because I got to work directly with Ted. What a great guy and such a positive attitude. I will always remember how proud he was of his family. Rest in peace my friend and my God Bless.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Diana, Kara, Amanda, Deanna, Maryann and all those who loved Ted. I had the honor of knowing and living with the Scalzo family growing up. Ted was like a brother and Maryann like a sister. They were family. Ted was my best friend in high school and best man at our wedding. The BEST is really the word that describes him. He will forever be in our hearts and memories. I'll miss him calling me Chief but I'll never forget the kind, loving friend that he was. He will be greatly missed. God bless you my friend and you family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

gen-tle-man: 1)a man of high or noble birth, 2)a polite or well-bred man, 3)any man spoken of in a polite way, 4)Ted Scalzo. All would be wise to follow his lead. As a long time friend of Ted's favorite (and only) brother-in-law, I had the pleasure of his company on many occasions. Sadly, not for many years. To Diane and girls and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. R. J. Abbatello, Arlington, TX

My heartfelt sympathy to the Scalzo family. It was my good fortune to have met Ted many years ago - he was one of the founding members of the St. Thomas Becket Men's Club. He was one of the kindest and caring people I have met - always a smile on his face. And as he was a good boccie player, I always wanted him on my team! He will be missed by all of his brothers in the Men's Club - may God grant him eternal rest.

To the Scalzo family, It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Ted. I also had the privilege of working with Ted, and as many have already expressed, my memories of him are only fond: of a kind and caring man who would go to great lengths to assist those who came to him for assistance with a problem. I've never witnessed Ted being angry, nor unkind, nor anything other than cheerful and friendly. I'm going to sincerely miss him. The world has lost a great man. My prayers are with the family that they may find comfort and peace in the midst of this sorrowful time.
