Dear Aunt Gert, we will certainly miss you. Your distinctive smile and genuine concern for our health and well being will be remembered. You certainly enjoyed company and lively conversation and I recall many a holiday spent at your table. Remarkably, I don't recall anyone calling you 'Trudy,' but I just found that out by reading the condolences. May you rest in peace and may Uncle Perry, Cheri, Cindy, and their families recall many beautiful memories. Love, Betty, Don, Todd, & Travis

I have known the Cumming's family for almost 50 years now, I practically lived at their house when were were teenagers. I'm sorry for your loss she was a wonder lady who has left a great legacy, she raised two wonderful ladies who together have given her six accomplished grandchildren. We will all remember her smile, I always remember her with a smile on her face. Boy she could sure talk a lot and fast when she was younger, in fact most times you were lucky if you could get a word in but you couldn't help but love her. What I remember the most was their love they had for each other, Mr. C never left her side and they always cared for each other. We should all be so luckily to have a love like they did in our life time. Again, I'm sorry for you loss but she has gone on to a better place and she has left you all behind to raise your families has she did, with love and grace.

Special condolences to my wife Cindy, her sister Cherie, and their father Perry Cumming. Gert was especially blessed by the love she shared with her family, and loved beyond measure by her husband Perry. How blessed she was to be given this kind of love and how blessed she was to be able to give and receive this love. Their marriage and relationship is an inspiration to all who have known them. I give thanks that she was my Mother-in-Law and for having given me such a wonderful wife, children and family. Peace of God be with you.
