Obituary of Lois Rizzuti

Mrs. Lois Mary (Smith) Rizzuti, 87, of 41 Milville Ave., Naugatuck, died unexpectedly Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, shortly after arrival. She was the wife of Michael F. Rizzuti. Mrs. Rizzuti was born in Naugatuck, Feb. 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Pirkowski) Smith and was a lifelong resident. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. She was a self employed Antiques dealer for many years. Besides her husband of 55 years, she leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all her sisters and brothers. Private funeral services will be held from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St to St. Francis of Assisi Church or a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck, There are no calling hours.
