Obituary of Margaret Clarke

Mrs. Margaret K. (Morisseau) Clarke, 89, formerly of Gaylord Dr., Waterbury, died Monday May 21, 2007 at the Middlebury Convalescent Home. She was the widow of Rollin Clarke, Mrs. Clarke was born in Meriden, Feb. 9, 1918, a daughter of the late Eugene and Catherine (Savage) Morisseau and attended schools in Meriden until moving to Waterbury in 1939 where she attended the Perry Business School. She worked as a Secretary at the Patent Button Co. until 1953. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She leaves a son M. Steven Clarke of Waterbury and a stepson Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard R. Clarke of Charleston, S.C. She was predeceased by a sister, Hazel Morisseau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 192 Robbins St. Friends are asked to meet directly at the Church prior to the mass. Burial will be in old Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 70 Central Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
