Obituary of Lucille Norton

Lucille Andrews Norton, 93, of Academy Road, died Saturday May 26, 2007 at her home. She was wife of the late Judson Norton. Mrs. Norton was born June 14, 1913 in Southington the daughter of the late Hiram and Lucy (Hubbell) Andrews. She was a graduate of Lewis High School in Southington and was a life long resident of Cheshire. Mrs. Norton was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire where she was a member of the Ladies Aide. She was Town Treasurer in Cheshire until her retirement in 1978. She was the Director of the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery and served as Secretary and Treasurer. Mrs. Norton is survived by her three daughters Elizabeth Hail and her husband Tom of Dade City, FL; Judith Hill and her husband Wayne of Cheshire; Phyllis Perry and her husband Tom of Cheshire; a brother and a sister; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by five brothers and sisters. Arrangements Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
