Obituary of Edmund Borowy

Cheshire Edmund Borowy, 74, of Bardon Ct. died Tuesday May 29, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Doris M. (Deschesnes) Borowy. Mr. Borowy was born June 16, 1932 in Stratford the son of the late Anthony and Frances (Koskoskov) Borowy. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army and obtaining the rank of Sargent. He was a communicant of St. Bridget Church. Before his retirement in 1990, Mr. Borowy was an Aerospace Engineer working for Nordon Systems and Hamilton Standard. He enjoyed meeting with his fellow retirees every Tuesday. Besides his wife of 50 years, Mr. Borowy is survived by his sons Christopher Borowy of Plantsville, David Borowy and his wife Stephanie of Cheshire; a daughter Karen Esposito and her husband Kevin of Colorado; two sisters Ann Graham of Westfield, NJ and Henretta Borowy of Stratford; six grandchildren Courtney, Taylor, Mathew, and Peter Borowy, Andrew Dickinson and Isabelle Esposito.Arrangements A funeral will be held on Friday 9:15 a.m. from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
