Obituary of Edward Bis

Edward J. Bis, 70, of 679 Mountain Rd Died Saturday morning at his home.He was the son of the late John J. and Kathryn ( Jada ) Bis. Mr. Bis was born on July 6,1936 at his home. He is a life long resident of Cheshire.He worked as a Greens Keeper for the Sleeping Giant Golf Course in Hamden until his retirement in 1997. He was also a parishioner of St. Bridgets Church. He is survived by 2 sisters Emily Tybursky of milldale Ct and Helen A.Bis of Cheshire and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. predeceased by 1 brother Joseph J.Bis and a sister Anne M. Suntava. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Bridgets Church Wednesday morning at 10:00 Calling hour will be 1 hour before mass from 8:30 to 9:30 at the Slater Funeral Home 272 South Main St. Cheshire. Burial will be in St.Bridgets Cemetery Cheshire.
