Obituary of Elaine Trask
Mrs. Elaine L. (Mausolf) Trask, 87, of Middlebury, died early Saturday morning June 9, 2007, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Wilbur R. Trask. Mrs. Trask was born in Waterbury, Dec. 30, 1919, a daughter of the late George and Mabel (Brecklen) Mausolf and was educated in the Waterbury school system. She was a graduate of Crosby High School, Class of 1937 and was a member of the Rifle Team while at Crosby. She served as Chairperson and coordinator of all the Class Reunions. She was a retired employee of the Conn. Mental Health Association where she had served as Executive Secretary for many years. She had also previously worked for the Bendix Corp.; .and had also been the Estate Manager for John Senior, Jr. She was formerly active with the Middlebury Congregational Church Comic Opera group, and the Cheshire Community Theatre and a member of the Waterbury Womens Club. She leaves one daughter, Cynthia Scott of St. Ives, New South Wales, Australia and a cousin, Ruth Brecklen of Meriden; and dear friends. Michael and Anne Adamski, of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by a son, Craig Trask. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Middlebury Congregational Church, P.O.
