I had many great teachers at Cheshire High School, but Frieda was the only one I had for all four years. She influenced a vast extended family of students at CHS, and was a force behind so many extra-curricular activities. I seem to recall dinner at a German restaurant on (I think) Bantam Lake. The school trip to Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg and Paris in April '72 with Frieda leading the tour, was one of my best memories from High School.
To this day, I still have a bronze paperweight on my desk made by a fellow classmate in first year that says,"Lotta ist crank, schade."
I'm glad to have had her influence on my life.
