Obituary of Thomas Lynch
Mr. Thomas F. Lynch, 72, of 36 West St., died Monday morning June 18, 2007, at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. Mr. Lynch was born in Waterbury, Jan. 31, 1935, a son of the late Thomas F. and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Lynch and was a life long Naugatuck resident. He was a graduate of St. Francis of Assisi School and the Naugatuck High School. He received his Batchelors degree in accounting from the University of Conn. He had been a Certified Public Account in Naugatuck, all of his career. He was a member of the Democratic Party in Naugatuck having served on the Democratic Town Committee for a number of terms and enjoyed attending various state democratic caucuses and conventions, during the years he was active with the party. He was the unsuccessful Democratic candidate for the 70th district seat in the House of Representatives in 2002. He was a member of the Naugatuck Arie, Ancient Order of Hibernians, and a former member of the Conn. Association of Certified Public Accounts. He leaves 3 sisters, Mary L. Sullivan of Naugatuck, with whom he made his home, Margaret L. Robinson of Point Pleasant, N.J., and Denise L. Aguero of Loveland, OH; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Monday June 25th at 10:30 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. to St. Francis of Assisi Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for church.
