Obituary of Antoinette Heckman

NEW HAVEN, Mrs. Antoinette (Novella) Heckman, 90, of Brown St. died Monday June 18, 2007 at the Regency House of Wallingford. She was the widow of Victor F.Heckman. Antoinette was born May 28 1917 in New Haven . A daughter of the late Michael and Rosina (Carno) Novella. She worked as a seamstress for the former Golio Co. in New Haven for many years until her retirement in 1977. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and sister. She was a communicant of St. Michaels Church in New Haven She leaves 1 daughter Valerie Heckman of Cheshire, 2 brothers Michael Novella of Orange, and Andrew Novella of Florida. She was predeceased by 3 brothers Salvatore,Philip and Lawrence Novella and a sister Anna Novella.Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 from the Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main St. Cheshire to the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Rd Cheshire for a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. The calling hours will held Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be in St.Lawrence cemetery West Haven.
