Margo was a dear and loving friend whom I dearly valued. She accepted leadership and service to her Al-Anon community. She always shared her sincere friendship. She mattered to us all when she shared her serenity and love. I will remember her warm and loving smile and extend my condolences to her family. Love and hugs dear special friend, Hope

As a physician at Gaylord I have fond memories of "Margo" during her many visits to discuss her arthritis, but also to discuss her whole life. She always came in dressed immaculately with every hair in place. We enjoyed our visits together discussing many subjects. I remember her talking about moving out of her house that she lived in for so many years and where she had raised her children. It was difficult for her, but she knew that her memory was failing, and that the move was necessary. Despite having to move out of her house, she seemed very happy when she talked about how wonderful her new living situation would be for her, without having to worry if she forgot to do something important. Her whole life story really struck home with me, because my own mother also has dementia, and had a similar life to Margo's including having to move from her house where she had raised her family. Alzheimers is a horrible disease that robs the person of their past. It is a long emotionally exhausting process for all of the family members as the disease slowly takes away more and more of the person's life memories. My thoughts and prayers go to Margo's entire family as they cope with this last stage. I will always remember her smile.....

Was sadden today of hearing the news of the passing of your mother. Know that we grieve with you at this time. No words can express how the passing of a mother effects a persons soul and mind. Just know that she loved you as much as you loved her. In that; some peace will come to you.
