Obituary of Louisa Fanning

Louisa (Valentine) Fanning, 80, of 7062 Gunther St., Englewood, FL., died Thursday June 28, 2007 at the Venice Hospital in Venice, FL. Mrs. Fanning was born in Waterbury, Conn., April 5, 1927, a daughter of the late Earl W. and Helen (Wilcox) Valentine and was a resident of Naugatuck prior to moving to Englewood in 1989. She was a retired Customer Service Representative with the Conn. Light & Power Co. and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck, prior to moving to Florida. She leaves one daughter Lee Hall and her husband William of Englewood; a sister-in-law, Doris Valentine, Middlebury and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation at, www.arthrist.com .
