Obituary of Robert Anderson

Cheshire Robert Anderson, 47, of Woodridge Ct., died Sunday in Prospect as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was the husband of Kathleen (McDaniel) Anderson.Mr. Anderson was born August 7, 1959 in New Haven the son of Helen (McNamara) Anderson and the late Paul Anderson Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of Notre Dame High School where he played hockey and baseball.Mr. Anderson graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and furthered his studies in Belgium. He was currently employed at Grassy Hill Country Club and previously had worked in several other establishments in the area and was most recently an instructor of Culinary Arts at New England Technical Institute in Shelton. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, playing hockey, fishing and outdoor activities.His memory will always be in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.Besides his wife and mother, Robert is survived by his three children Robert "R.J., Lauren, and Joseph all of Cheshire; three brothers Paul Anderson Jr. of West Haven (Leslie Lyons), Lawrence Anderson and his wife Gale of Rocky Hill and William Anderson and his wife Jane of Phoenix, Arizona.Arrangements A funeral will be held 9:15 Wednesday August 1, 2007 from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St. Cheshire to Church of the Epiphany for mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
