Obituary of Elsa Wayman

Elsa Wayman, 86, formerly of Rumberg Rd., Cheshire died Monday August 6, 2007 at Brook Hollow Health Care in Wallingford. Mrs. Wayman was born September 2, 1920 in Danbury the daughter of the late Hans and Sophie Garnie. She was a very active member of the Grace Baptist Church in Cheshire. She was a very caring woman who wrote many letters of consolation to those who lost loved ones and letters of encouragement to missionaries of the church. Mrs. Wayman is survived by her three sons David Kettles of Palmer, MA, Robert Wayman of New Britain, and James Orne of Meriden; a daughter Frances McBlain of CA; two sisters Freida Stebbins of Danbury, and Arlene Anderson of Danbury; a daughter-in-law Patricia Wayman of Southington; three grandchildren ; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.Arrangements Friends are invited to join the family for a funeral services on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St. Cheshire. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
