Obituary of Michael Londner

Mr. Michael I. Londner, 72, of 74 Boulder Brook Ct., Prospect, CT died Friday evening Aug. 10, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Renee (Bungeely) Londner. Mr. Londner was born in New York, NY Sept. 5, 1934, the youngest son of the late Joseph and Frances (Heyert) Londner, and was a Prospect resident for the past year and a half, moving here from Somerset, NJ where he had lived for the previous 4 years. Prior to that, he lived in East Northport, NY for over 10 years. He was a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School in New York. He graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University, PA and with a Masters Degree from City College of New York. He retired from J. Manheimer, Inc., NY after serving as VP of Regulatory Affairs. He was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and a member of Temple Beth David of Cheshire. Besides his beloved wife of 33 years, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Susan Maier of Shelton and Rachel Londner of Prospect; one brother, Robert "Ted Londner of Manchester, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Chris McMahon of Cheshire; and a son-in-law Tom Maier and 3 grandchildren, Steve, Jake and Kendall Maier, all of Shelton.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Temple Beth David, 3 Main St., Cheshire. Burial with military honors will be in the Temple Beth David section of Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 South Main St. Cheshire on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
