Obituary of Clara Bigelow

Mrs. Clara May (Shepany) Bigelow, 92, formerly of Fairlawn Ave., Waterbury, died Wednesday Aug. 1, 2007 at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Gilbert Bigelow. Mrs. Bigelow was born in Waterbury, Feb. 18, 1915, a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Goodrich) Shepany and was a lifelong city resident. She was a communicant of St. Johns Episcopal Church. She leaves several cousins, including, Paul Loether of Washington, D.C., Mark Loether of Simsbury and Barbara Mathieu of Lorado, Tx.A memorial service will be held on Saturday Aug. 18th at 1p.m. at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 16 Church St., Waterbury. Burial of cremains will be in Old Pine Grove Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
