Obituary of Troy Jacques

Mr. Troy Ernest Jacques, 31, of 383 Rubber Ave., died Sunday August 12, 2007 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Prospect. Troy was born in Waterbury, a son of Nardeth Nardi Chandler of Naugatuck, and the late Donald E. Jacques and was educated in the Naugatuck School system. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School class of 1993 and was employed by the Region 15 school system of Middlebury in the custodial dept. for the past 10 years. He was a member of the mens Auxiliary of the V.F.W. and a member of Local 677 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was a foster parent to an Ethiopian child who he supported for the past 13 years. Besides his Mother of Naugatuck, with whom he made his home, he leaves 4 brothers, Michael Chandler and his wife Lisa, Tracy Jacques, Frank Gould, and Gary Jacques all of Naugatuck; 2 sisters, Wanda Gould and her fianc, Scott Carrigan and Patricia Santa Maria and her husband Joseph all of Naugatuck. Several nieces and nephews; 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew and several Aunts and Uncles. He was predeceased by his father and a brother Randy Jacques.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Conn.
