Obituary of Ellaine Jensen

Ellaine A. Jensen, 81, of Cheshire passed away Monday August 27, 2207 at Elim Park. She was the widow of James A. Jensen.Mrs. Jensen was born July 18, 1926 in New Haven the daughter of the late Carl and Clarice (Eager) Scholvien. She was a Korean war veteran serving in the Army Nurse Corp. She was stationed in both Japan and Hong Kong.Mrs. Jensen graduated from the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for over thirty years at the West Haven VA Hospital. She was a former member of the Orchid Society and the Cheshire Garden Club.She is survived by her daughter Diane J. Szeber and her husband Marty of Glastonbury; and two grandchildren Lauren and Jonathan also of Glastonbury. Arrangements A funeral will be held on Thursday August 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Elim Park Chapel, 150 Cook Hill Rd., Cheshire. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St. Waterbury.
