Obituary of Amy McGregor

Amy Maureen McGregor, 34, of Cheshire passed away on Saturday, September 1st, 2007. Amy was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 25, 1973 the daughter of James and Colleen (Whelan) McGregor of Cheshire. Amy grew up in Cheshire where she attended Doolittle Elementary School and Dodd Junior High School. After graduation from Holly Cross High School in Waterbury, she attended the University of Toledo in Ohio.Amy is survived by her son Kenneth A. McGregor of Cheshire; a sister Erin and her husband Jay Higgins of Wallingford; her brother Jamie of Cheshire; her Paternal Grandmother Anne Rosecrans of Bridgewater, N.J; her Paternal Grandfather James A. McGregor or Bernardsville, N.J., as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her Maternal Grandparents Raymond and Berneta Whelan of Toledo, Ohio and her paternal Grandfather Fred Rosecrans.Arrangements - A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday September 6, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be private. The Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire, is in charge of arrangements.
