Obituary of Ronald Kennedy

Mr. Ronald J. Kennedy, Sr., of 383 West Main St., Cheshire, died Oct. 4, 2007 at the Waterbury Hospital. Mr. Kennedy was born in Cheshire, Feb. 23, 1937, a son of the late Raymond and Aida (Ferguson) Kennedy and was a lifelong resident He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Cheshire High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan. He was a retired employee of Pratt & Whitney. He leaves one son, Ronald J. Kennedy, Jr., of Boston, Mass.; and 3 grandchildren, Candler, Morgan and Aidan Private services were held at the convenience of the family. The Slater Funeral Home, 242 So. Main St. was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place W., Brookline, MA 02445
