Mrs. Agnes Mary (Maurice) LaMadeleine, 88, of Cheshire, died Tuesday morning at her home. She was the widow of Armand LaMadeleine who died in 1998.Mrs. LaMadeleine was born in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Canada, April 28, 1919, a daughter of the late Raymond and Eva (LeClerc) Maurice and had been a resident of Cheshire since 1948, moving here from Waterbury. She had been an employee of Ball and Socket, Inc. for many years, prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Bridget Church and had been a former Girl Scout leader in Cheshire and had been a volunteer with Radio Rosary.She leaves her sons, John LaMadeleine of Saugus, Cal., Joseph Maurice of North Port, Fla., Robert LaMadeleine of Lancaster, Cal. and Ronald LaMadeleine of Newport, Vt.; two daughters, Sylvia Ciarlo of Worcester, Mass., and Peggy Chasse of Bradenton, Fla.; 3 sisters, Irene DAmico of Ft. Myers, Fla., Flore Chichowski of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Rita Boulanger of Southington; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Raymond LaMadeleine, and Ernest LaMadeleine and 3 brothers, Rene Maurice, Conrad Maurice, and Roger Maurice.Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 South Main St. (Rt. 10) to St. Bridget Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m... Burial will be in St. Bridgets Cemetery.
