Obituary of Ross Olsen

Mr. Ross T. Olsen, 77, of Waterbury, died Thursday November 15, 2007 at the Abbott Terrace Health Center. He was the husband of Dolores H. (Stanley) Olsen. Mr. Olsen was born March 4, 1930 in Waterbury, a son of the late Carl Olsen and Lyla (Ross) Guilbert and was a lifelong Waterbury resident. He was a graduate of Bunker Hill Grammar School and Crosby High School and also attended the University of Connecticut. Prior to his retirement, he was a Traffic Control Officer for many years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Waterbury where he was a past Noble Grand. Mr. Olsen was a member of the Bunker Hill Congregational Church. He leaves his wife Dolores H. Olsen of Waterbury. Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 70 Central Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
