Obituary of John Davino

Mr. John A. Davino, Jr., 74, of 990 West Main St., died Thursday afternoon, Nov. 22, 2007 at St. Marys Hospital. Mr. Davino was born in Waterbury, July 7, 1933, a son of the late John A. Davino, Sr. and the late Helen (McLaughlin) Davino and was a resident of Waterbury all his life. He was a retired Chef having been employed at Dreshers Restaurant and the Waterbury Lodge of Elks, until his retirement. He was a Marine Corps. veteran during the Korean War. He leaves one son, Steven C. Davino and his wife Lori of Holland, Mich.; 2 daughters, Debbie Davino and her husband Joe DAutorio of Watertown, and Linda A. Ouellette and her husband Peter, of Waterbury; one brother Bob Davino of Georgia; one sister, Mary Kolenski of Southington; 5 grandchildren and his former wife, Gail . He was predeceased by a son, David Davino. Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 70 Central Ave. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
