Obituary of Jeannette Sullivan

Mrs. Jeannette (Lanctot) Sullivan, 96, formerly of Beecher Ave., Waterbury, died early Tuesday morning Nov. 27, 2007 at the Haven Health Center. She was the widow of Edward J. Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., May 18,1911, a daughter of the late Amie and Nellie (Rancour) Lanctot. She was the retired Corporate Secretary of Modern Glass. Co., retiring in 1982 after 41 years of service. She was a communicant of SS. Peter and Paul Church. She leaves a niece, Eileen Thompson, of Waterbury, with whom she had made her home, and several nephews, Ronald OGorman and his wife, Virginia of Ledyard, Raymond Farrell and his wife Angie of Waterbury, and John Swasey and his wife Nancy of Naugatuck, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Irene OGorman. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 70 Central Ave. to SS. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
