Obituary of Stephen Horvath

Stephen J.Horvath, 94 of Leclerc Ave Cheshire died Thursday December 6,2007 at the Elim Park Baptist Home in Cheshire. He was the wife of Lucy V.(Denicola) Horvath.Mr.Horvath Was Born in Jim Thorpe PA. on September 10,1913. He was the son of the late John and Mary(Laskey) Horvath.Stephen retired as a machinist in 1976 from the Waterbury Farrell Co.He was an avid fisherman and loved to play billiards and bowling. Stephen was also a Dodger and mets fan. Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons Thomas J Horvath of Waterbury and John A.Horvath of Plantsville. A sister Helen Grenier of Hamden , 5 grandchildren, Deborah,Barbara,Tom,Ryan and Randee,and also 3 GreatGrandchilden.Predecieced by 3 brothers Martin,Frank and Paul Horvath,and 2 sisters Mary Rimsky and Ann Mistretta. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. The Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main St. Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
