Obituary of Dorothy Weber

Cheshire, Dorothy M. Weber 85 of 185 Main St. passed away peacefully Friday December 28, 2007 at St. Raphael's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Weber. Mrs. Weber was born on July 3, 1922 in Waterbury, CT. She was the daughter of the late Marguerite (Egan) Therrien and Vernon Meade.She is Survived by 2 sons, Brian and his wife Nancy Weber of Cheshire and W. Michael and his wife Wendy Weber of Cotuit , MA and a daughter Donna E. and her husband Francis Shanoff of Killingworth. A sister Mary (Therrien) Calabrese of Watertown . She is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 11 loving great grandchildren. Mrs. Weber was predeceased by a daughter Sheila M. Guardino and a brother John J. Medling. She was a realtor and co-ownerat the Austin Real Estate Co.,ownerofD.M. Weber Real Estate and property manager for the Watch Factory Shops in Cheshire. She attended St. John's School and was a graduate of Watertown High School . Mrs. Weber was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella St. Bridget's Mercy Circle Chapter 739 and served as a pastState Regent of Daughters of Isabella. She was a communicant of St. Bridget's Church in Cheshire .Funeral services will be held from the Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main St. Cheshire Friday morning at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Bridget's Church at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery Cheshire. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
