Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main St Cheshire, CT 06410 203-272-0638 Cheshire- Rosemary Port, 89, died Thursday January 10, 2008 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the widow of George Port. Rosemary was born December 15, 1918 in Waterbury and was the daughter of Michael and Flora (Moss) Terzano. She was a bookkeeper at Derby Nursing Home until her retirement in 1988. Rosemary was a communicant of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire. She was involved with Historical Society and D.A.R (Daughters of the American Revolution). Rosemary is survived by her daughter Susan Williamson of Cheshire, her sister Ruth Deverin-Fox of Florida, her grandchildren Ian and his wife Stephanie Williamson, and Tracy Hobbs, and her great-grandchild Braeden Williamson. Rosemary was predeceased by her daughters Deborah Port, and Holly Hobbs and her sisters Connie Merriam and Florence Teripodina. Arrangements- Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at The First Congregational Church of Cheshire at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery 166 Wallingford Rd Cheshire, CT 06410.
