Obituary of Ida Famularo

Naugatuck Ida G. Famularo, 87, formerly of Vagnini Dr. passed away Tuesday morning January 15, 2008 at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington. Most recently she was a resident at the Alzheimers Resource Center in Plantsville. She was the widow of Charles J. Famularo. Mrs. Famularo was born December 5, 1920 in Fano, Italy the daughter of the late Alfredo and Barbara (Candelora) Vagnini. She was a communicant of St. Francis church and a long time Naugatuck resident. Mrs. Famularo is survived by her two sons Charles and his wife Carol of Bethany and Richard and his wife Wendy of Riverside, IL; a daughter Carolyn Frankowski and her husband Bernard of Factoryville, PA; her brother Mario Vagnini of Naugatuck; her four grandchildren Julia, Jason, Kara and Kyle. She is predeceased by her brothers Oddo and Aldo. Arrangements Funeral services will be held on Friday 10:15 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., to St. Francis Church for mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
