Obituary of Carolyn Watterworth

Mrs. Carolyn G. Watterworth, 89, of Waterbury died Tuesday January 29, 2008 at Saint Marys Hospital. She was the widow of David Watterworth.Mrs. Watterworth was born May 29, 1918 in Auburn, NY a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Connor) Davis and has lived in Waterbury for most of her life. She was employed at Uniroyal (U.S. Rubber) in Naugatuck retiring in 1973 after many years of service. She also worked with her late husband as the secretary of Dave Watterworth Signs. She was a member of the former Trinity Episcopal Church in Waterbury where she was a member of the Vestry and was also a member of AARP.She leaves her son David Watterworth and her daughter Dorothy LaRosa both of Waterbury, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Douglas and Dennis Watterworth.Private graveside services for Mrs. Watterworth will be held in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
