Obituary of Erminio Perin
Erminio Silvio Perin, 78, of 776 Field St., died unexpectedly Monday Jan 28, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Jean (Henderson) Perin. Mr. Perin was born in San Biagio, DiCalata, Tredlso, Italy on July 17, 1929, a son of the late Erminio and Adelaide (Bestor) Perin and had been a Naugatuck resident since 1953, moving here from Middlebury. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired employee of Local 488, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He retired in 1992, and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck. Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves three daughters, Linda Goodrich of Mott, N.D., Jennifer Day of Naugatuck, and Nancy Parent of Prospect; 4 grandchildren, Jason Parent, Charles Parent, Michael Day and David Goodrich; 3 great-grandchildren, Kevin Day, Derick Day and Dakota Goodrich; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in Middlebury Cemetery, Middlebury in the Spring.
