Obituary of Simon Salovitz

Waterbury Simon R. Salovitz, 56, passed away Friday February 1, 2008 after a long illness. He was the husband of Lora Bynum. Simon was born the son of Elaine and Richard Harris and the late Edwin Salovitz. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a son Heiwa Salovitz; his brothers Charles Salovitz, Larry Harris and his wife Debbie; his sisters Robin Angeloni and her husband Richie, and Amy Abramson. He was stepfather to Malynda Bynum and Cheryl Singleton. He was boompa to Shaun, Stacey, Amia, Victoria, Jaiyda and Anthony. He was great uncle to nephew Jadyn and niece Shaelynn. He is predeceased by his brother Stephen and sister Carol. Simon also leaves many friends. He will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at Gabys Caf, 1169 Meriden-Waterbury Rd., Plantsville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
