Obituary of Arlene Allard
Mrs. Arlene May (Moses) Allard, 65, of Woodbury died Sunday February 3, 2008 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Real Sprague.Arlene was born May 3, 1942 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Krom) Moses. She was a graduate of Hopeville Grammar School and Wilby High School and was employed in the childrens department of Marshalls in Watertown retiring after 30 years of service. She enjoyed swimming, puzzles, reading, poetry, the ocean and her favorite meal, lobster and her favorite flower, Lilly of the valley.She leaves her sons, Real Sprague of Waterbury and Randy Sprague of Naugatuck, her daughter, Michelle Cardona and her husband Rafael of Meriden, her brothers, Raymond Moses of Watertown and Douglas Moses of Waterbury, her sister, Sharon Edquist and her husband Rob of Plymouth, 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service for Arlene will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 70 Central Ave.
